Performance Initiative wants to support theatre makers at every stage of their practice.
To do this we have developed an escalator model for theatre practitioners to encourage creativity and performance, providing opportunities for the theatre maker’s continuing practice and development.
Each of the three initiatives in this model give the opportunity to theatre makers to perform in a week long festival in a central London venue. The Festivals are produced by the professional company ScenePool
The initiatives are: eVolve gives student theatre makers the space and opportunity to try out work, experiment with a new idea and get feedback ScenePool gives professional theatre makers and writers the space and opportunity to try out work, experiment with a new idea, get feedback or introduce your company to potential producers or venue programmers. GroundWork is a programmed festival of work for professional theatre practitioners
